Filling Line Engineer (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Dublin, Ireland; the role is based in South Dublin.

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day engineering support for filling lines and associated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and support investigations and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Automation, Quality, and Engineering teams.
• Support equipment modifications, upgrades, continuous improvement, planned shutdowns, maintenance activities, and equipment interventions.
• Participate in commissioning, qualification, and start-up activities.
• Review engineering drawings and technical documentation, coordinate with equipment vendors and specialist contractors, and develop practical knowledge of filling equipment and manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Process, Chemical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Approximately 2–4 years of engineering experience, ideally in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or another regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience in design, project, process, or equipment engineering.
• Comfort working directly with operations and equipment on the manufacturing floor.

Nice to have

• Hands-on exposure to manufacturing equipment, commissioning, site activities, equipment installation, or troubleshooting.
• Exposure to aseptic processing, fill-finish, filling equipment, clean utilities, or pharmaceutical process equipment.
• Familiarity with GMP manufacturing environments.
