Technical Deployment Lead (AI)

Location: Hybrid, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Compensation: AED 540K–AED 1M, plus equity

What you will do

• Own technical delivery plans for customer workstreams, translating business objectives into milestones, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and operating rhythms.
• Coordinate day-to-day execution across DeployCo, OpenAI, and customer teams, keeping risks visible, blockers resolved, and critical paths protected.
• Work with customers to map workflows, shape requirements, align technical plans with success criteria, and drive production adoption.
• Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers, researchers, Product, customer engineers, and technical stakeholders to move prototypes through MVP, production readiness, launch, and scale.
• Make tradeoffs on scope, sequencing, resourcing, and quality while maintaining trust with technical and executive stakeholders.
• Own value cases, impact measurement, adoption tracking, reusable delivery patterns, implementation playbooks, evaluations, and field insights for future deployments and product priorities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of customer-facing technical delivery, technical program management, deployment, consulting, solutions engineering, or implementation leadership experience.
• Experience leading complex, ambiguous, cross-functional technical projects requiring close coordination and fast decision-making.
• Technical fluency to assess architectures, integration plans, data and workflow constraints, and production readiness without being the deepest engineer in every domain.
• Ability to move between system-level strategy and execution details, including executive objectives and ticket-level dependencies.
• Clear communication with business leaders, technical teams, and customer stakeholders when decisions involve risk, scope, speed, or adoption.
• Strong customer empathy and willingness to spend time onsite with customers when it accelerates delivery and trust.
• Practical interest or experience in AI and LLM systems, with willingness to learn solution patterns, evaluation practices, and production pitfalls.
• Ability to operate in high-ambiguity environments and structure complex work so it becomes visible and shippable.
