Regional HR Operations Specialist

Location: Based in Stockholm, Sweden; hybrid work model combining office presence with flexibility. The role supports HR operations across Sweden, Norway, and Iceland.

What you will do

• Handle advanced Tier 2 HR inquiries and provide expert support to employees across Sweden and the North Region.
• Manage sensitive employee relations cases, grievances, union consultations, and relationships with union stakeholders.
• Monitor compliance with labor laws and regulatory standards, with a focus on Swedish labor law.
• Maintain and improve HR tools and platforms, particularly Workday and Jira, ensuring accurate and reliable employee data.
• Support the employee lifecycle, including HR queries, employment contracts for non-volume hires, Workday data changes, and monthly payroll activities with an outsourced payroll provider.
• Support compensation reviews, performance appraisals, complex HR issue resolution, and HR data analysis and reporting.

Requirements

• Fluent Swedish and fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Background in Swedish labor law is required, including experience supporting team leads with labor-law-related issues.
• Experience in People or HR Operations, ideally in a multi-country or global environment.
• Experience with payroll process development from an HR perspective, coordinating payroll input, and cooperating with an outsourced payroll provider.
• Proactive problem-solving approach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
