Union Relations Lead

Location: Hybrid, Paris, France; candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to Paris.

What you will do

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with French unions, federations, paritariste institutions, and related social partner organizations.
• Map the ecosystem, prioritize interlocutors, and define engagement strategies at confederal, federal, and branch levels.
• Represent hirify.global in federations, working groups, congresses, and paritariste institutions.
• Advise Enterprise and Public Sector teams on the social partner context and introduce relevant contacts during commercial cycles.
• Monitor branch-level dialogue, social protection developments, and competitor positioning, translating findings into strategic recommendations.
• Build knowledge libraries, engagement frameworks, documentation processes, and AI tools to improve social partner engagement and commercial execution.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of total experience in social partner relations within a union organization, branch federation, paritariste institution, or external affairs role at a mutuelle, IP, or insurer.
• Credibility at federation level, developed through representative experience or substantive federation-level engagement from the employer side.
• Deep knowledge of the paritariste ecosystem, including branch agreements, confederal mandates, social protection reforms, and institutional structures at each level.
• Proven ability to build trust with social partners from the employer or state side.
• Outstanding stakeholder management: calm, discreet, trustworthy, and able to represent hirify.global substantively.
• Ability to translate hirify.global’s product and strategy into compelling narratives for social partner audiences.
• Demonstrable impact of prior social-partner work on commercial and strategic outcomes.
• Self-starter comfortable building from scratch in a fast-paced, high-growth environment; ego-free and focused on enabling others.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Paris.

Nice to have

• Confederal or federal elected or permanent experience.
• Experience inside a paritariste institution.
• Experience inside a sector federation working on its social dialogue agenda.
• Legal background in droit social and ability to read collective agreements quickly.
• International exposure to the European social dialogue ecosystem.
• Prior experience with RFPs or tenders involving union-negotiated or paritariste schemes.
