DevOps Engineer

Location: Singapore, South West, Singapore. In-person role.

What you will do

• Develop automation and provisioning systems for virtual machines, databases, containers, cloud workloads, and data center infrastructure.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automated scripts, and software release processes.
• Deploy monitoring and observability tools, track infrastructure and application availability, and resolve operational bottlenecks.
• Troubleshoot cross-platform system and application issues and participate in on-call escalation rotations for critical production incidents.
• Implement configuration management, business continuity, backup, restore, and automated disaster recovery procedures.
• Design and maintain enterprise security controls, perform vulnerability assessments and system hardening, and remediate security incidents.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, TDD, CI/CD, and Git branching workflows, with hands-on experience using GitLab, Jenkins, Bitbucket, or ArgoCD.
• Hands-on experience with high-availability, multi-data-center hybrid cloud systems across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in at least three of Bash, PowerShell, Python, and Go, plus knowledge of RPM-based software packaging and deployment.
• Proven experience with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Vagrant for automated provisioning and with VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
• Strong expertise in Docker and Kubernetes, with familiarity with CNCF ecosystem tools including Helm, Istio, Gatekeeper, Crossplane, and ArgoCD.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues across systems and application stacks.
• Practical knowledge of business continuity, system backups, restore procedures, and disaster recovery planning for high-reliability environments.
