Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle)

Location: Roma, Italy; partially remote

Salary: €49,530–€89,180 per year for a full-time schedule in Italy; compensation is adjusted for part-time roles.

What you will do

• Configure, install, maintain, and optimize database management systems.
• Manage user access and implement security policies to protect data from unauthorized access and external threats.
• Perform capacity planning and growth projections to support scalable database infrastructure.
• Coordinate database project plans with multiple teams and propose improvements to system performance and reliability.
• Develop backup and recovery plans to protect systems against failures.
• Support end users and application developers in resolving complex database-system issues.

Requirements

• Oracle database implementation and management experience.
• SQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Database administration migration and modernization experience.
• Vulnerability management experience.
• Exadata and GoldenGate.
• Employment under the Italian National Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Metalworking Industry, with Quadro classification.

Nice to have

• Public or private cloud management experience, especially migration from on-premises environments to the cloud.
