Video Editor & Motion Designer (Gamedev)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid work model with 3 days per week in the office. Up to 2 months per year of remote work from anywhere.

What you will do

• Create trailers and user-acquisition video ads for games across Google Play, App Store, Microsoft Store, Steam, PlayStation, Nintendo, Xbox, Facebook, Google Ads, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Own video production from concept development through final delivery, including gameplay capture from game engines or builds.
• Edit and adapt content for platform-specific formats, compression, encoding, and distribution requirements.
• Enhance videos with sound effects, music, text, graphics, motion design, and existing 3D assets; no 3D modeling from scratch is required.
• Incorporate feedback from creative, marketing, legal, licensing, and client stakeholders while maintaining artistic, IP, licensing, brand, and game identity guidelines.
• Organize video assets, monitor ad performance, provide recommendations, and contribute ideas, workflow improvements, and trend-driven formats.

Requirements

• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
• Expertise in motion design, video editing, and video content creation.
• Extensive experience with video editing, motion graphics, and graphic design using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Online portfolio and/or demo reel included with the application.
• Ability to independently manage the creative process from asset preparation to final delivery while following a creative brief.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong artistic sensibility, attention to detail, creativity, innovation, and willingness to explore new techniques.
• Willingness to learn game-engine content manipulation.

Nice to have

• Passion and experience working in video games.
• Experience with 3D applications such as 3ds Max, Blender, or Maya.
• Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine.
• 2D skills or experience.
