Software Engineer - Platform Team - Romania (Linux/ASIC)

What you will do

• Work with the Platform team on software closest to networking hardware and programmable chips.
• Develop and maintain Arista's networking operating system based on state orientation, open standards, and a single software image.
• Build distributed, multi-process software using publish/subscribe communication and a central system database.
• Develop low-level software on Linux for physical platforms, virtual machines, and containers.
• Support reliable automation, testing, and deployment of network configurations across data center infrastructure.

Requirements

• Strong engineering and computer science fundamentals.
• Extensive background in algorithms and strong software architecture skills.
• 5+ years of fluency in at least one of C, C++, or Python.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing software in a strong product-engineering environment.
