Facilities Planning and Digitalization Specialist (Biotechnology)

Location: Onsite in Raritan, New Jersey, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Base pay: $96,267–$126,351 USD per year. Performance-based bonus and/or equity may be available for eligible roles.

Global biotechnology organization developing cell therapies, including CAR-T, TCR-T, and NK cell-based therapies, in collaboration with a major pharmaceutical partner.

What you will do

• Develop executable work plans and standardized job plans for preventive maintenance, calibration, corrective maintenance, and other maintenance activities.
• Coordinate corrective maintenance, equipment outages, vendor services, materials, resources, production windows, and cross-functional or off-shift support.
• Manage corrective-maintenance backlogs and work-order compliance, including aging, priorities, overdue work, recovery actions, and closure.
• Review work-order documentation for completeness, accuracy, traceability, timeliness, GDP, data integrity, and GMP compliance.
• Support investigations, nonconformances, CAPAs, audit observations, and inspection readiness with maintenance history, work-order data, and trend analysis.
• Improve eCMMS data, equipment BOMs, asset records, workflows, material readiness, reporting, KPIs, workload forecasts, and maintenance processes.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in facilities, maintenance, metrology, maintenance planning or scheduling, engineering, reliability, or a related technical function.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with maintenance work management, including planning, corrective-maintenance coordination, work-order lifecycle management, and backlog management.
• Experience with eCMMS platforms such as IBM Maximo, SAP PM, or an equivalent platform.
• Working knowledge of preventive maintenance, calibration, corrective maintenance, spare-parts and materials planning, and work-order compliance.
• Working knowledge of GMP, GDP, data integrity, deviations or nonconformances, CAPA, and audit or inspection readiness.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Query, or similar data-analysis and reporting tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze maintenance and operational data.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States and completion of employment eligibility verification through Form I-9 and E-Verify.
