Python Developer

Location: Remote from Costa Rica; candidates must be based in Costa Rica and legally authorized to work there.

What you will do

• Develop clean, reusable, and scalable Python applications using Django and Flask for clinical data solutions.
• Design and maintain software architectures integrating analytical and operational systems.
• Build and maintain secure REST APIs for data exchange across platforms.
• Develop data pipelines and optimize data processing for clinical and business applications.
• Implement automated testing, troubleshoot issues, and improve software quality.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams while ensuring compliance with GCP, ICH guidelines, and FDA expectations.

Requirements

• Technical degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Python Developer in software engineering or data-focused environments.
• Proficiency in Python, Django, Flask, SQL, and databases.
• Experience with REST APIs, AWS, Git version control, and front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of clinical trial processes and data management best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Based in Costa Rica and legally authorized to work in Costa Rica.
