Lean Expert (Manufacturing)

Location: Santiago de Querétaro, Querétaro, Mexico; more than 80% travel to global factory sites required.

What you will do

• Support Lean University and develop practical, business-oriented learning content.
• Deploy Lean training programs and coach teams in applying Lean principles on the shopfloor.
• Launch and facilitate ideation campaigns, Kaizen activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide hands-on support to factories and help local teams solve operational challenges through structured problem solving.
• Drive waste elimination, flow improvement, productivity gains, and operational performance improvements.
• Connect factories, share best practices, and replicate successful Lean solutions across the global production network.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on Lean expertise in manufacturing environments, including Kaizen, 5S, waste elimination, flow improvement, standard work, and structured problem solving.
• Knowledge of Value Stream Mapping, flow and takt design, visual management, problem solving, and Continuous Improvement, with the ability to apply them on the shopfloor.
• Experience building Lean capabilities and deploying training programs, workshops, and Gemba-based training for different organizational levels.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills for cross-functional and international collaboration.
• Ability to support ideation campaigns, facilitate Kaizen activities, and convert improvement opportunities into concrete, sustainable actions.
• Data-driven, results-oriented approach with the ability to track KPIs, validate improvements at the workplace, and coach teams through performance deviations.
• Willingness to travel approximately 80% to deliver Lean training and hands-on support at global sites.
