Video Editor (AI)

Location: Fully remote within LATAM; required availability from 9:00am–5:30pm Pacific Time (PT).

Salary: Up to USD 25,000 per year on a full-time contractor contract.

What you will do

• Produce high-quality short- and long-form video for briefs, brands, audiences, and social platforms using Adobe Creative Suite.
• Create new motion graphics or work with existing packages to strengthen finished edits.
• Review source material and completed work for pacing, audio, captions, on-screen text, accessibility, export settings, and AI-generated or modified content.
• Use AI to improve quality, speed, and consistency while protecting confidential material, rights, and brand standards.
• Apply feedback, manage deadlines and changing priorities, flag blockers, and keep project files, versions, and handovers organized.
• Test production improvements and share effective techniques, reusable prompts, and workflows with the team.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating editing craft, storytelling, pacing, and an understanding of social content; personal projects and fan edits are accepted.
• Confident use of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of encoding, export specifications, and optimization for social platforms.
• Fundamental understanding of AI in production workflows, supported by examples of tools or features tried and lessons learned.
• Ability to critically review AI output, identify errors, and explain where a tool adds value.
• Strong attention to detail, reliable delivery under deadlines, and judgment to balance polish with available time.
• Clear communication, openness to feedback, and initiative to investigate problems and improve work.
• Based in LATAM and available to work 9:00am–5:30pm Pacific Time.
