Senior Investment Designer (Rewards and Commerce)

Location: United States, Remote

Salary: $124,000–$149,000 USD base pay per year

What you will do

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create pursuit and reward-based systems and content that complement Destiny activities.
• Perform advanced scripting and tool work.
• Design sustainable systems and content that engage players.
• Design creative additions and improvements for existing Rewards and Commerce systems.
• Tune gameplay values to create compelling moments and satisfying progression curves.

Requirements

• Professional experience as a designer.
• Experience working with game development software and tools.
• Experience building rewards, player customization, and MTX systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience owning features or leading small teams.
• Ability to work as part of a large team and take feedback and direction appropriately.

Nice to have

• Technical experience writing text-based scripts to manage game systems, such as Lua, Python, or a similar language.
• Multiple shipped game systems within the console or PC space.
• Experience working on games as a service or live content.
