Banking Advisor Sr (MLO)

What you will do

• Advise current and prospective high-net-worth clients on credit and cash management solutions as part of the Private Banking team.
• Use internal and external networks to introduce and sell AMG banking products and services.
• Build relationships with clients, internal and external partners, and centers of influence while executing banking transactions.
• Originate, analyze, negotiate, and document complex credit and non-credit banking products and services.
• Manage and monitor a book of business to support client satisfaction, retention, and sales revenue growth.
• Analyze, structure, and mitigate complex credit risk, mentor team members, and ensure compliance with banking policies and regulations.

Requirements

• University or college degree; a Bachelor’s degree is listed for the position.
• Typically 8+ years of industry-relevant experience.
• Knowledge and experience in client relationship management, credit analysis and verification, financial management, portfolio management, and banking products and services.
• Ability to make decisions, think critically, solve problems, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively.
• Experience with sales negotiation, value selling, sales processes, book-of-business management, client satisfaction, customer retention, and financial performance.
• Ability to assess and manage business risks in accordance with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
• Candidates are subject to additional background checks under Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations, FDIA Section 19, and, where applicable, the SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements.
