Test Automation Engineer (Robot Framework)

What you will do

• Prepare, execute, and report on application testing activities, including test scenarios, test cases, and result validation.
• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated web application test suites using Robot Framework and Playwright-based libraries.
• Develop reusable automation keywords, test resources, and test cases while improving the existing automation framework.
• Investigate test failures, analyze execution logs, troubleshoot automation issues, and identify quality risks and deviations.
• Coordinate testing across multiple project teams, maintain quality plans, and provide status reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in multicultural and international project environments while following regulatory and anti-bribery requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework for automated web application testing.
• Experience designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test suites; experience with Playwright-based Robot Framework libraries is considered a strong advantage.
• Good understanding of keyword-driven testing, test design techniques, automation best practices, software testing methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
• Basic Python knowledge for test automation development and troubleshooting, plus experience with web UI testing, cross-browser testing, and debugging.
• Experience working in complex application environments and knowledge of test change control procedures and test case management.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent certification or experience; experience with Agile, DevSecOps, ITIL, Prince2, PMI, PM², or similar methodologies.
• Experience with Jira, OpenText ALM/Octane, and Confluence.
• Very good English at C1 level or French at C1 level.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of both English and French, with one language at C1 level and the other at least B2 level.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as SoapUI or Postman.
• Experience with Python-based custom test automation libraries.
• Experience with mobile and cross-platform compatibility testing.
• Familiarity with Agile software development and continuous testing practices.
