Banking Specialist (OTC Derivatives)

What you will do

• Process OTC equity and FX derivatives, including Accumulators, Decumulators, Swaps, Dual Currency Investments, Structured Investments, and other FX-related products, as well as Interest Rate Swaps, Listed Options, and Futures.
• Validate orders, match confirmations, and follow up with relevant parties to resolve trade exceptions and discrepancies.
• Perform cash and position reconciliations, investigate outstanding breaks, and close open items.
• Manage derivatives operations within agreed SLAs and KPIs to prevent losses and breaches and mitigate operational risks.
• Escalate operational risks to the Manager and support process efficiency improvements and updates to Key Operating Procedures.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing when required and collaborate with other Banking Operations teams.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in back-office order processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proactivity, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving and time-management skills, high attention to detail, flexibility, and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and the ability to build robust relationships with peers and other stakeholders.
• Excellent knowledge of English and Italian.
