Content Writer (iGaming)

Location: Remote, Maputo, Mozambique

hirify.global is recruiting for a local partner and operates a network of 1,400 professionals across more than 10 countries, delivering data-driven solutions.

What you will do

• Translate and localize English and group content into Portuguese for websites, apps, terms and conditions, bonus terms, banners, SMS, push notifications, email, and social media.
• Adapt football references, currency, payment methods, promotional content, and cultural context for the Mozambique audience.
• Write original copy for campaigns, promotions, sports content, match previews, and landing pages in the brand voice.
• Proofread and edit Mozambique content for grammar, tone, accuracy, consistency, amounts, odds, dates, and promotional terms; maintain a local style guide and glossary.
• Ensure required 18+ and Responsible Gaming messaging is included, avoid misleading claims or appeals to minors, and obtain compliance approval for promotional content.
• Coordinate with Marketing, CRM, Customer Support, Product, Design, VIP, and Payments to keep published information accurate and deliver localized scripts and FAQs on time.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, Public Relations, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience in content writing, copywriting, digital marketing, communications, or a similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong grammar, proofreading, editing, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to write engaging content for different audiences and platforms and to research topics into clear, engaging copy.
• Good understanding of social media, digital marketing, and online advertising.
• Strong creativity and ability to develop new content ideas.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Portuguese content production and localization skills for the Mozambique audience.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with content management systems, social media platforms, and basic digital marketing tools.
• Experience in iGaming or a similar industry.
