Maintenance Excellence Owner (Life Sciences)

Location: Onsite in Stargard Szczecinski, Poland; approximately 25% travel required.

What you will do

• Shape and govern the enterprise Total Productive Maintenance strategy, including asset lifecycle management and alignment with manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and business objectives.
• Drive standardized maintenance programs and best-practice sharing across multiple sites.
• Sponsor and embed TPM pillars covering daily management, standard work, problem solving, equipment and supplier requirements, and autonomous maintenance.
• Lead reliability and operational excellence initiatives using RCM and FMEA to improve asset availability and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Oversee maintenance compliance with cGMP, GxP, EHS, and global regulatory standards, including audit readiness, inspection support, and critical asset risk management.
• Direct CMMS/EAM and digital maintenance strategies while leading maintenance teams and partnering with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and vendors/OEMs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of maintenance, engineering, or operations experience in a GMP life sciences environment, such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing multi-site or large-scale maintenance programs.
• Strong knowledge of TPM methodologies, reliability engineering, and CMMS/EAM systems.
• Demonstrated success improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime in regulated manufacturing.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or Business.
• Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma.
• Familiarity with digital maintenance technologies and Industry 4.0 applications.
