Automation QA Middle Engineer (Gaming)

Location: Tashkent; onsite, remote, or hybrid work formats available.

Work on a customer project in the gaming and systems development sector, delivering game content, gaming systems, and gaming hardware.

What you will do

• Design, write, maintain, and improve automated test cases and frameworks across a portfolio of gaming applications.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, investigate failures, and provide detailed reports and timely feedback.
• Participate in code reviews and apply coding, automation design, and quality engineering best practices.
• Support the integration of automated test suites into CI/CD processes and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to clarify requirements, ensure test coverage, and maintain documentation and knowledge bases.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of relevant experience.
• Practical experience automating tests with Selenium, Appium, GameBench, TestComplete, or similar tools.
• Essential programming and scripting skills in Java.
• Clear understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and iterative software development lifecycles.
• Basic experience with test management and bug-tracking tools such as Jira and TestRail.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, plus effective communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Software testing or automation certifications such as ISTQB.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and pipeline tools.
• Experience in cross-team, multi-project environments.
