Engineering Manager, Engineering Experience (AI)

Location: Multiple locations in Lithuania — Vilnius or Kaunas. Hybrid work with 2 recommended office days per week; remote work is permitted under the stated workation policy.

Gross monthly salary: €6,658–€9,008.

What you will do

• Lead an engineering team building internal products used daily by engineers and AI agents.
• Define the team vision, scope, quarterly objectives, delivery plans, dependencies, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Build golden paths for service creation, resource provisioning, test environments, incident diagnosis, and other platform workflows.
• Ensure engineering quality through sound principles, meaningful SLOs, incident response, post-mortems, and technical-debt management.
• Grow engineers through 1:1s, development plans, coaching, mentoring, and clear performance feedback.
• Contribute to platform strategy and hirify.global’s AI adoption roadmap, including repository AI-readiness, evaluation frameworks, and hosted coding agents.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams building platforms, developer tooling, or internal products.
• Proven ability to own delivery through planning, estimating, delegation, and shipping through a team.
• Hands-on fluency with AI-assisted development, including coding agents, MCP integrations, agent skills, and evaluations, with informed views on where agents add value.
• Strong understanding of developer experience and reducing total work for internal users.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, giving effective feedback, and addressing underperformance clearly and constructively.

Nice to have

• Experience with internal products or platforms, or platform-as-a-product operating models.
• Experience running agentic or LLM-powered workloads in production, including sandboxing, guardrails, evaluations, or agent observability.
