Bioinformatics Data Analyst

Location: Armenia; remote or hybrid options within Armenia

What you will do

• Design analytical plans and select appropriate tools and methods for client research questions.
• Analyze RNA-seq, WES, and other omics data from clinical trials, archival samples, and public datasets.
• Interpret findings through the lens of molecular biology and oncology.
• Create reports and visualizations that communicate complex results and their practical implications.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of molecular biology and oncology.
• Experience with quality control, alignment, quantification, differential expression, pathway analysis, mutation calling, and copy-number analysis.
• Working knowledge of Python, Pandas, classical machine learning, Scikit-learn, statistical methods, SciPy, Linux, and Bash.
• Master’s or Specialist degree in Bioinformatics, Biology, or a related field.
• English at B2 level or higher.
• At least one year of industry experience or a strong record of applied academic research.
