Staff Software Engineer (CI/CD)

Salary: USD $140,400–$372,300 per year

What you will do

• Architect, develop, test, and ship scalable systems across hirify.global services.
• Design APIs and distributed services supporting hirify.global Actions workflows.
• Provide technical leadership through mentoring, pairing, code reviews, and technical roadmap development.
• Design isolation mechanisms for untrusted code execution and partner with Security teams on vulnerability prevention.
• Improve reliability, monitoring, alerting, runbooks, and incident response for Actions services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on technical solutions, costs, testing strategies, and customer feedback.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with a bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience through other education and experience combinations.
• Production software development experience with languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python.
• Experience with large-scale system architecture and design in cloud-based environments.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices.
• Ability to work remotely from within the United States.

Nice to have

• Technical leadership experience.
• Experience with Go, Ruby, Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience building or operating CI/CD systems at scale.
