What you will do

• Design and evaluate rotor and stator structures for reliable and efficient turbomachinery using in-house and commercial software.
• Contribute to engine development from concept design and simulation through testing, product-life-cycle evaluation, and product support.
• Improve engineering methods and develop practical analysis tools for rotor and structural dynamics.
• Support the development of gas turbines, heat pumps, and selected steam turbine applications.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Design, Mechanical Integrity, Testing, and Manufacturing across international locations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, engineering physics, or a related field.
• Knowledge of and strong interest in structural dynamics; rotor dynamics experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of finite element analysis, mechanical integrity, mechanical design, tribology, or related areas.
• Experience with Abaqus, Simcenter 3D, MATLAB, Python, or equivalent engineering software is advantageous.
• Proactive and committed approach to analysing and resolving technical challenges.
• Proficiency in English is required; Swedish is an advantage.
