What you will do

• Develop and maintain certification and accreditation documentation supporting Authority to Operate processes.
• Manage Information Assurance Vulnerability Management activities, including vulnerability assessment, mitigation, compliance monitoring, training, and reporting.
• Apply DoD and MHS-approved tools to identify vulnerabilities, investigate security weaknesses, and support continuous monitoring.
• Respond to security breaches and incidents, assess their impact, execute corrective action plans, and recommend preventive measures.
• Manage information system security, access controls, security procedures, software and hardware audits, and implementation of security technologies.
• Coordinate with IT specialists and operational teams, assign work, track completion, manage tickets, and meet SLAs.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Active IAT III certification and CompTIA Security+ certification required.
• At least 6 years of experience as an Information Assurance Specialist or Information System Security Officer.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with SPLUNK, PowerShell, ACAS, NESSUS, Siphon, eMASS, CSTARS, STIGs, and DoD/MHS cybersecurity processes.

Nice to have

• Prior experience supporting a Department of Defense environment.
