Information Security Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote in the United Kingdom; the role supports platforms requiring UK SC Clearance.

What you will do

• Respond to, escalate, and investigate security alerts and incidents.
• Create security alerts, dashboards, policies, procedures, and incident response playbooks.
• Perform threat hunting across information security log feeds and monitor network activity for threats.
• Conduct root cause analysis for vulnerabilities and security incidents.
• Perform security reviews, penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and vulnerability triage across products and services.

Requirements

• Knowledge of information security concepts, best practices, cloud infrastructure, application security, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
• Experience with SIEM tools, log observability, Azure or AWS, information security testing tools, and scripting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel or Elasticsearch, SaaS security, APIs, logging, access control, permissions, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of the OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK, operating systems, and Linux command-line tools.
• Experience with AI tools such as Claude Code for data analysis and application development.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.

Nice to have

• Security certifications such as Security+, GSEC, CompTIA CySA+, or Cisco Cyber Ops.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
• Familiarity with Docker, containerization, and secure IT SaaS application implementation.
