Remediation Project Manager (Environmental Remediation)

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States; hybrid work with occasional travel to project sites

What you will do

• Develop and implement safe, cost-effective remedial strategies for assigned sites.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams through site remediation, field execution, construction, decontamination, and demolition.
• Manage project budgets, annual spending estimates, authorizations, cost controls, forecasts, plans, and schedules.
• Coordinate with federal and state environmental agencies on remediation scope, alternatives, and hirify.global involvement.
• Retain and manage environmental consultants, laboratories, contractors, and other project specialists.
• Present project status, strategies, costs, risks, and progress to senior leadership and internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering, Natural Science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of environmental remediation and project management experience, including 3+ years working with federal or state environmental agencies.
• Experience overseeing the safety, technical, organizational, and financial aspects of multiple environmental projects.
• Experience coordinating field execution, construction, decontamination, and demolition activities.
• Knowledge of USEPA and state agency policies, procedures, environmental reserves, and government requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; SAP experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in industrial corporate environmental settings or manufacturing facilities.
• Knowledge of USEPA RCRA and CERCLA remediation programs.
• Experience with environmental, occupational health, worker safety, permits, compliance auditing, or capital projects.
• Professional credentials such as PE, PG, LSRP, or PMP, or an advanced degree in an environmental discipline.
