Global Investigator (Crypto)

Location: Remote within the United States; US business hours preferred, with EST overlap for daily handoffs. Formal weekly on-call rotation may include occasional weekend coverage; no routine onsite requirement.

What you will do

• Process inbound victim complaints and validate AI-generated investigation outputs.
• Route complaint dispositions toward freezes, escalations, recovery handoffs, victim notifications, or case closure.
• Identify false positives, merged syndicates, and misclassified investment scams, pig-butchering schemes, and ransomware cases.
• Enrich complaint selectors using commercial data integrations and on-chain and off-chain checks.
• Maintain clear shift handoffs during US-hours coverage and participate in the high-priority on-call rotation.
• Provide structured feedback to engineering to improve the AI triage model.

Requirements

• Investigative or analytical experience in the private or public sector; 1–3 years of experience is suitable.
• Strong applied AI fluency and judgment when reviewing AI-generated analysis.
• Baseline cryptocurrency knowledge and familiarity with crypto threat types.
• Ability to prioritize independently, work during periods when other team members are offline, and produce clear written handoffs.
• US citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance required.
