Engineer I/II (Biotech Manufacturing)

Location: USA - CO - Boulder; onsite role

Salary: Engineer I $74,000–$112,000 annually; Engineer II $84,000–$115,500 annually

What you will do

• Support process development and technology transfer into production-scale biologics manufacturing.
• Monitor manufacturing process performance and lead troubleshooting of technical issues.
• Apply engineering principles to process validation and process improvement projects.
• Author technical documents, including product impact assessments, campaign summaries, and continued process verification reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage directly with clients to deliver technical solutions.
• Plan and lead initiatives or projects within the function.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field for Engineer I.
• Master’s degree in engineering or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, for Engineer II.
• Knowledge of biotech unit operations and biologics manufacturing.
• Ability to solve technical problems of moderate scope and determine when additional technical resources are needed.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Boulder, Colorado.
