Process Engineer Tech (Days)

Location: Forest Grove, Oregon, United States; onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Support production of difficult parts by interpreting drawings and product specifications.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes during line-down situations and coordinate repairs with production, maintenance, facilities, engineering, shipping, and other groups.
• Evaluate process data, write reports, and identify deviations from established methods and parameters.
• Prepare charts, diagrams, workflow documentation, and layout proposals for process and machine-utilization changes.
• Support projects focused on yield, throughput, and process capability improvements.
• Maintain historical records, process-change notices, checklist documentation, and other administrative records.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Typically 1–3 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of printed circuit board assembly techniques and the ability to interpret specifications and make quality-related judgments.
• Understanding of mathematics, statistics, chemistry, and physics for problem solving.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and MRP/COLT; clear written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Secondary or trade school education.
• Familiarity with the TTM Registration system and troubleshooting.
