Group Director, Technology Operations - Marketplace Transformation & Performance (eCommerce)

Location: Bentonville, Arkansas, United States; onsite at 1601 SE 10th St.

Annual salary: $160,000–$320,000, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead high-impact business transformation initiatives that improve operational performance and deliver sustainable results.
• Establish performance management mechanisms, identify inefficiencies, and drive accountability across cross-functional teams.
• Translate business priorities into execution plans, aligning Product, Technology, Operations, and business stakeholders.
• Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning, business reviews, prioritization, and data-driven decisions.
• Identify opportunities to use technology, automation, and AI to improve organizational efficiency.
• Build and lead high-performing strategic and operational teams.

Requirements

• Extensive experience leading large-scale business transformation, operational excellence, strategic initiatives, or technology operations.
• Experience owning business performance and delivering measurable operational improvements.
• Experience leading teams and influencing senior executives in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Strong background partnering with Product, Technology, and Operations teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and significant professional experience, or equivalent relevant experience; minimum requirements include 8–10 years depending on qualification path and supervisory experience.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, executive communication, and ability to create structure in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• MBA or another advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with Marketplace, eCommerce, technology platforms, or similarly complex environments.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
