Frontend Developer

Location: Remote within Australia or New Zealand, with availability during Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST; UTC+10:00) business hours when necessary. The head office is in Sydney, and occasional travel to client offices or company summits may be required.

What you will do

• Build responsive, mobile-first front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers, clients, designers, and other non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and communicate through Slack and project management tools.
• Maintain tasks, pull requests, Git workflows, and accurate time logs.
• Travel occasionally for client meetings and attend company-funded team gatherings when required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of front-end development experience is preferred.
• Strong experience with HTML5, modern CSS, JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, and front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Solid understanding of responsive and mobile-first development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• High self-discipline and professionalism in task management, team communication, and time tracking.
• Experience with Git branching workflows and pull requests.

Nice to have

• Experience applying WCAG 2.2 and building accessible interfaces.
• Understanding of design systems, Storybook, UX, and design-detail practices.
• Experience with Vite, Rollup, Jest, Vitest, Playwright, state management, or data-fetching patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Core Web Vitals, Figma, Drupal theming, and Twig.
