Data Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Collaborate with stakeholders and Product Owners/Analysts to clarify business requirements and support data-driven decisions.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations, primarily using Power BI.
• Analyze product performance, client behavior, acquisition funnels, client lifecycle, cohorts, retention, segmentation, and KPI performance.
• Support data-driven solutions that improve business performance and operational efficiency.
• Validate data accuracy and consistency and work with BI colleagues to improve reporting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably in Finance or FX.
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of dimensional modeling, semantic models, and star schemas.
• Working knowledge of DAX and Power BI data modeling principles.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches and recommendations.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with statistical analysis, A/B testing, financial services, trading, or FX data.
• Python or R skills for data analysis and automation.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts, data governance, DataOps, or Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Databricks or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience with market, competitor, or benchmarking analysis.
