Node.js Developer with LLM

Location: Ukraine. Remote or hybrid work is available.

Project for a US general contractor modernizing its federal bidding process through a custom AI platform.

What you will do

• Build the Node.js and TypeScript backend foundation, including project setup, authentication, role-based permissions, and an immutable audit log.
• Implement solicitation intake from SAM.gov, PDF/DOC/HTML parsing, OCR, and per-field confidence scoring.
• Develop LLM orchestration with structured extraction, retries, fallbacks, citation tracking, and cost control.
• Build bid scoring against company certifications and past performance, with Word, PDF, and Excel exports for Go/No-Go reviews.
• Prepare the platform for production with OWASP baseline security, secrets management, AWS CI/CD, runbooks, and handover documentation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of backend development with Node.js and TypeScript using Fastify, NestJS, or Express in production.
• Experience with PostgreSQL schema design, migrations, and pgvector for RAG.
• Production experience integrating Anthropic, OpenAI, or Amazon Bedrock, including structured outputs, retries, RAG, and cost and latency management.
• Experience with AWS ECS/Fargate, S3, RDS, CloudFront, CI/CD pipelines, PDF parsing, OCR, REST/OAuth integrations, and public APIs.
• Structured development workflow with Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot, including task analysis, review, testing, and validation, plus an LLM feature shipped to production.
• English: B2+ required.

• Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS, government contracting, SAM.gov, or construction pricing data such as Xactimate.
