Junior Market Analyst - LNG/LNG Bunkering (LNG)

Location: Singapore; hybrid workplace

What you will do

• Monitor LNG and MarineTraffic platforms to maintain accurate, timely, and consistent cargo and flow data.
• Maintain, structure, and expand LNG bunkering and alternative-fuels market intelligence datasets.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to investigate anomalies, improve workflows, and enhance product features.
• Track regulatory and commercial developments in LNG trade, including supply, demand, and regional arbitrage.
• Support sales and customer success with product demonstrations and client inquiries.
• Coordinate market context with Gas & Power News, Research, and Market Operations teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics, or another quantitative discipline.
• Up to two years of experience in market analysis, data operations, or business intelligence.
• Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL, Python, or VBA.
• Ability to analyze large, unstructured, or disparate datasets with strong attention to detail and logical problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required, including confidence presenting insights to internal teams and external clients.

Nice to have

• Exposure to LNG, natural gas, shipping, maritime, or commodity markets.
• Experience working in an international, asynchronous team across multiple time zones.
