Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud/DevOps)

Location: Singapore, Singapore; on-site. The role requires candidates to be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents due to client security clearance requirements.

What you will do

• Implement infrastructure projects, assess existing environments, and propose improvements.
• Evaluate client requirements and contribute to technical roadmaps and scalable solutions.
• Establish controls and processes for continuous delivery and infrastructure and application evolution.
• Provide expertise in DevOps, cloud, platform, and infrastructure engineering at hirify.global and client sites.
• Build relationships with client engineering leadership and communicate technical strategies to diverse stakeholders.
• Propose innovative solutions within existing policies and business requirements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, virtualization, infrastructure automation, and application hosting.
• Hands-on experience with IM8 and SHIP-HATS is required.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise or web-scale hosting platforms, including application servers, web servers, and databases.
• Knowledge of DevOps, Agile methods, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, monitoring, security, secrets management, network security, and software supply chain security.
• Ability to script and build or administer Linux servers, Windows servers, or container clusters.
• Singapore Citizenship or Singapore Permanent Residency is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with GCC (Government Commercial Cloud).
• Experience with public sector projects, unit testing, automated testing, stress testing, or performance testing.
