Junior QC Specialist (Online Requirements Team) (Gaming)

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine. Hybrid work with availability to work from the office is required.

What you will do

• Execute online requirements tests covering hirify.global accounts, online services APIs, cross-play, cross-progression, monetisation, achievements, NAT traversal, and network interoperability.
• Test games across PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch platforms.
• Investigate, reproduce, report, and track issues, including finding workarounds for production teams.
• Plan and coordinate test passes across one or more projects, manage risks, and ensure test coverage.
• Communicate project status and quality feedback between production, QC, online services, hirify.global Connect, telemetry, and other teams.
• Create project documentation and reports while improving testing tools, procedures, and personal skills.

Requirements

• Upper-intermediate English or higher, spoken and written.
• Good understanding of the road-to-release process.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organisation, time management, and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, multitask, remain proactive, and handle challenging situations.
• Openness to change and continuous self-improvement.
• Availability to work from the office in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Nice to have

• Experience with multiple projects, task coordination, mentorship, or test case creation and adjustment.
• Hands-on experience with several gaming platforms and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of network addresses, protocols, and network parameters.
• Exposure to packet sniffers, Cisco devices, or Linux.
