Freelance Motion Designer (AI/Robotics)

What you will do

• Create microinteractions and motion systems for digital product interfaces.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to define how products move, react, and communicate.
• Prototype motion concepts that improve clarity, feedback, and emotional response.
• Explore motion approaches that make AI and robotics interfaces feel more human.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of motion as a communication tool.
• Experience creating microinteractions, transitions, and motion systems for digital products.
• Ability to prototype quickly using tools such as After Effects, Principle, or Figma.
• Strong sense of rhythm, timing, and flow.
• Ability to collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and clients.
• Curiosity about robotics, AI, and human-centered technology.

Nice to have

• Experience animating logos, icons, or visual identities.
• Experience with motion for brand storytelling and product launches.
• Comfort with 3D or physics-based motion tools.
