Product Definition Analyst (Hospitality Connectivity)

Location: Hybrid work at the Bogota office, Colombia

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements with Product Owners and stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and technical requirements.
• Analyze end-to-end integration flows, APIs, data mappings, business rules, dependencies, and system impacts.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and QA teams on solution design, backlog refinement, PI Planning, and feature readiness.
• Define expected behaviors and test scenarios, investigate functional and integration issues, and turn production learnings into product improvements.
• Maintain product, interface, and functional documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience as a Product Definition Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a similar software role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to translate complex requirements into clear specifications.
• Experience with APIs, system integrations, data mappings, XML/JSON, or distributed applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with Engineering, Architecture, QA, and Product teams in an Agile environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of hospitality, CRS, PMS, distribution, or connectivity.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and API or integration technologies.
