Senior Test Engineer (QA Automation)

Location: Hybrid; a minimum of 50% of working time per month in the office, with an initial period full-time in the office.

What you will do

• Test applications, APIs, back-office workflows, third-party systems and integrations, including end-to-end scenarios.
• Interpret business, functional and technical requirements and identify risks early in delivery.
• Create and implement test automation approaches, balancing automated and manual testing.
• Develop test tools and extend automation frameworks and test environments.
• Execute test scripts, record results in JIRA and Xray, raise defects, and support UAT and production releases.
• Coach testers, review their work, delegate tasks, and help the Team Lead balance priorities.

Requirements

• Senior testing experience, including delegating work and supporting other testers.
• Full understanding of the testing lifecycle and methodologies.
• Experience designing automated BDD test scripts and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Experience with exploratory testing in an Agile development environment and API integration testing.
• Knowledge of Cypress, Gherkin, Page Object Model, PactumJS and TypeScript.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, risk identification and collaborative problem-solving skills.
