Junior Research Analyst - Governance Research (Open to Fresh Graduates)

Location: Onsite at Ayala North Exchange Tower 2, Makati City, Philippines; dayshift schedule with extended hours, holidays, and weekends as needed.

What you will do

• Analyze proxy statements for shareholder meetings of publicly traded companies.
• Conduct fundamental research on investment and shareholder issues.
• Distill financial and corporate governance information into research reports.
• Prepare proxy vote recommendations based on ISS policy guidelines.
• Address internal and external issuer questions about research reports and policy issues.
• Participate in working committees and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent field.
• Knowledge of investment analysis, financial research, or related business areas.
• Understanding of corporate governance, corporate transactions, and capital markets.
• Strong analytical, written, oral communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Willingness to work onsite in Makati and to work extended hours, holidays, and weekends when required.
