Senior Fullstack QA Engineer

What you will do

• Own the test strategy for a data-collection platform covering the worker app, WebView, back office, and backend services.
• Test photo, voice, video, and text capture and upload across Android and iOS devices, unstable networks, interrupted uploads, and on-device validation.
• Validate task reservations, expiry, quotas, campaign auto-stop, submission states, review cycles, labeling consensus, and buyer isolation.
• Verify accruals, balances, payout batches, reconciliation, consent withdrawal, data erasure, and audit trails.
• Build and maintain end-to-end and API automation in CI and perform load testing of task queues and ingestion under peak traffic.
• Investigate defects using logs, metrics, traces, databases, and message queues, and support release validation and production issue analysis.

Requirements

• Strong experience with functional, integration, API, and end-to-end testing across onboarding, consent, task queues, data capture, review, earnings, and payouts.
• Experience testing time- and quota-based logic, financial flows, third-party integrations, privacy requirements, and data retention and erasure.
• Understanding of microservices, event-driven and asynchronous architectures, retries, timeouts, idempotency, duplicate events, and eventual consistency.
• Experience with REST and/or gRPC APIs, automated API testing, and tools such as Postman.
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar automation frameworks, plus CI/CD, Docker, AWS, SQL, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
• English: Intermediate or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile media capture and upload, device fragmentation, permissions, poor networks, resumable uploads, and on-device validation.
• Experience with load and performance testing.
