Cybersecurity Engineer, Workday SIRT (Cybersecurity)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid/flexible schedule with at least 50% of each quarter spent in the office or in the field

Salary: €70,200–€105,400 base salary per year in Ireland

What you will do

• Respond to operational security queue work in a follow-the-sun model.
• Lead cyber incident response and investigations, including digital forensics and cloud security events.
• Improve threat detection through gap analysis and remediation.
• Identify and implement additional security controls, tooling, and automation.
• Build and maintain investigation and response tools and processes.
• Evaluate new security tools and techniques.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a security engineer or analyst in related domains.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures, network and application security threats, attack techniques, mitigation options, and network protocols.
• Python or another scripting language, with strong knowledge of Linux/OSX and Windows.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities alongside operational responsibilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Security certifications or training such as Offensive Security, SANS, or CISSP.
• Experience with cloud security, incident management, threat hunting, SIEM, SOAR, and digital forensics.
• Experience using AI tooling for workflow automation and investigative enhancements.
