Location: Onsite in Milan, Italy

Reimbursement: €800 gross per month

What you will do

  • Conduct experiments in mammalian cells, including protein overexpression and knockdown.
  • Perform light microscopy on fixed and live cells.
  • Prepare samples for proteomic analysis.
  • Develop assays to identify previously uncharacterized protein-protein interactions during open mitosis.
  • Investigate the molecular and cellular functions of nuclear envelope proteins.

Requirements

  • MSc in Biomedical Sciences, Molecular Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related subject.
  • Experience in wet-lab research.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Motivation to learn new techniques with support from research facilities and colleagues.
  • Motivation letter submitted in English.

Nice to have

  • Experience with mammalian cell culture.
  • Experience with plasmid design and cloning.
