Group Director Enterprise Applications

Location: Hybrid role in Petržalka, Bratislava, Slovakia; home office possible 2 days per week

Salary: Minimum gross basic wage of €5,000 per month, with compensation based on level, skills, experience, and qualifications

What you will do

• Lead the group-wide Enterprise Applications organization and provide strategic and operational direction.
• Own the strategy and roadmap for ERP and cross-functional business systems.
• Stabilize, evolve, and support the future rollout of OneERP / IFS Cloud across the Group.
• Drive business process standardization and harmonization with Business Process Owners and key stakeholders.
• Establish application portfolio governance, lifecycle management, ownership, SLAs, KPIs, and service accountability.
• Lead application transformation, modernization, rationalization, and legacy-solution reduction while aligning investments with business priorities.

Requirements

• University degree or higher vocational education in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in enterprise applications, ERP leadership, business applications management, or large-scale application transformation.
• Experience leading ERP strategy and rollout, application portfolio management, modernization, rationalization, or cross-functional transformation programs.
• Experience managing large and complex application landscapes in an international, matrixed, multi-entity environment, including team leadership.
• Strong understanding of architecture, integration, and data governance principles.
• Pragmatic, collaborative, and value-oriented leadership with strong executive stakeholder management, transformation, and change capabilities.

Nice to have

• Experience in industrial, engineering, project-based, or asset-intensive businesses.
• Experience working in complex international or project-driven organizations.
