Financial Reporting Accountant

hirify.global is a food manufacturing company with a group financial reporting function supporting head office entities.

What you will do

• Oversee colleagues across the Group and Shared Finance Centre to ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting.
• Review accounting entries, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations in SAP ECC, while also preparing journals hands-on.
• Prepare monthly reporting packs and statutory accounts under FRS 101 in BPC.
• Complete financial controls under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act framework and liaise with internal and external auditors.
• Support quarterly and annual reporting, including consolidation journals, financial disclosures, technical accounting papers, budgets, and forecasts.
• Contribute to projects involving acquisition accounting, refinancing, share repurchases, restructuring, S/4HANA migration, and IFRS 18 adoption.

Requirements

• Qualified financial accountant with ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in financial accounting, audit, fixed asset accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of International Accounting Standards and advanced spreadsheet, word-processing, and finance software skills.
• Experience in people management, process development, and implementation.
• Post-qualification experience is desirable.
