Solution Architect (Cloud/OLAP)

Location: Remote, but the final candidate must be located in Beijing or Shanghai, China

What you will do

• Design solutions for complex business and technical requirements, including data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise-scale architectures.
• Advise customers at all organizational levels, from C-suite stakeholders to data scientists and developers.
• Communicate the vision and positioning of ClickHouse products and secure strategic commercial commitments.
• Use a solution-based approach to create customer value and support successful adoption.
• Identify initiatives that turn customer data into actionable business value and align them with business outcomes.
• Work with partners to scale the business and build a strong technical ecosystem in China.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Beijing or Shanghai, China
• 10+ years of experience with open-source software business models.
• Professional proficiency in cloud and infrastructure software, with OLAP experience required.
• Experience with scalable, highly available distributed systems.
• Experience creating proof-of-concepts and reference implementations.
• Fluency in English and Chinese required.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying applications with major cloud providers.
• Experience with OLAP database programming and data models.
• Experience with Alibaba Cloud as a go-to-market partner.
