TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer, iOS (All Teams) (Swift/iOS): Building reliable, intuitive mobile experiences and a full-stack ecosystem connecting consumers, merchants, and drivers with an accent on product-focused development, real-time data synchronization, and API integration. Focus on solving complex synchronization challenges, continuously refactoring the codebase, and developing, launching, and iterating on mobile applications.

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada

Base salary: CAD 149,500–187,000 per year, plus potential equity grants.

What you will do

  • Build product features for reliable, intuitive, and visually polished iOS experiences.
  • Develop a mobile ecosystem integrating consumers, merchants, and drivers.
  • Solve real-time data transfer and synchronization challenges.
  • Extend and implement APIs.
  • Improve the codebase through continuous refactoring and implement unit tests.
  • Keep iOS development practices aligned with current industry standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience.
  • Expertise in Swift and the iOS SDK.
  • Familiarity with networking, storage, and CocoaPods.
  • Knowledge of systems and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience building, launching, and iterating on mobile applications.
  • B.S., M.S., PhD in Computer Science, or equivalent education.
