Platform Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Onsite in Eindhoven (Strijp-T), Netherlands; 40 hours per week

hirify.global develops autonomous robotics technology, including drones and driving robots, from its base in Eindhoven.

What you will do

• Own and maintain CI/CD infrastructure, self-hosted build runners, pipelines, and nightly builds.
• Improve build reliability, performance, reproducibility, and release traceability.
• Operate package registries, artefact repositories, and internal developer services.
• Build and maintain software supply-chain tooling for SBOM generation, dependency scanning, and CVE monitoring.
• Maintain the Ubuntu-based Linux infrastructure, including upgrades, backups, and monitoring.
• Investigate failures and bottlenecks, coordinate resolution, automate repetitive work, and document the platform.

Requirements

• Strong Linux administration skills, especially with Ubuntu.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems, build pipelines, self-hosted build infrastructure, or comparable developer tooling.
• Scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with package registries, artefact repositories, or dependency management.
• Understanding of software supply-chain security, including SBOMs, CVEs, and dependency scanning.
• Good spoken and written English required. A software-engineering background and a proactive ownership mindset are expected.

Nice to have

• GitHub Actions experience.
• C++ or ROS experience, or familiarity with embedded and robotics build environments.
• Docker and virtualisation platforms such as Proxmox.
• Software composition analysis, vulnerability-management, compliance, or security framework experience, including CRA, NIS2, or ISO 27001.
• Dutch language skills and GitHub, Jira, or Confluence administration experience.
