C++ Developer (NAS Backup)

Location: Prague, Czechia. Remote work is possible only when located in the Czech Republic; applicants permanently outside Czechia may not be considered.

What you will do

• Develop high-performance, cross-platform software for Windows and Linux in a universal hybrid-cloud platform.
• Build core engine functionality in C++ and contribute to Go development.
• Design algorithms that address performance, scalability, security, fault tolerance, upgrades, and maintainability.
• Develop multithreaded data-processing applications for compression, encryption, and transfer of large data volumes within limited backup windows.
• Troubleshoot and fix defects by analyzing logs, process dumps, and network traffic captures.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of C++17 and STL.
• Knowledge of multithreading, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience with object-oriented programming principles.
• Ability to work with Windows and Linux environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
