Business Analyst Lead (Fintech)

Location: Nicosia, Cyprus; hybrid model with part-time office attendance

Salary: EUR 50,130–62,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead requirements elicitation and own the requirements phase for complex client engagements and card migration programmes.
• Design and oversee functional solutions, advise clients on product capabilities, and recommend best-practice approaches.
• Manage requirements matrices, feasibility reviews, development scope, client sign-off, and cross-workstream coordination.
• Lead and coordinate senior and lead Architects in a matrix environment, including resourcing, mentoring, work allocation, and escalations.
• Coordinate migration strategy, data mapping, functional impacts, risks, timelines, and change-management governance.
• Work with business, technology, migration, infrastructure, programme, and client stakeholders to define and implement validated solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in business requirements analysis, gathering, documentation, and validation for software projects.
• Experience in the card payments industry and in client advisory or IT consultancy roles.
• Experience with matrix management and leading groups of Architects.
• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or a related field.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across business and IT stakeholders.
• Excellent spoken and written English; flexibility to travel to client premises.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global PRIME or similar card management systems.
• Understanding of data structures and large-scale projects such as portfolio conversions or product launches.
• Business analysis certification or progress toward an IIBA or BCS qualification.
• Experience using common AI tools.
